COMMISSION TERMS OF SERVICE
General
- You MUST be 18 or older to commission RunnerRabbit. Proof of age via ID will be required upon taking your commission.
- Clear references must be provided, a 2 or 3 turn flat color reference sheet works best.
- Descriptions or documents should be condensed into 2 or 3 paragraphs.
- Concept art will be created for the client for free for ita bag/backpack commissions. Kigurumis, Fursuits and plushes created of existing characters will have to have an already created reference sheet. Reference images will suffice for kigurumis, costumes/mascot suits, and plushes of already existing characters from cartoons, video games, animes, etc.
- Rudeness, verbally abusive, or pushy clients will not be tolerated.
Ita Bags/Backpacks
- Ita bags and backpacks can be made custom. A drawing of the bag you would like if it is custom or complex is best. Otherwise, concept art can be done. If possible, even a quick drawing in MS paint to aid in the design process will help a lot in getting your vision correct.
- Ita bags that contain explicitly nsfw elements are not allowed, although you can put anything you’d like inside the bag
- A direct copy of already existing backpacks or ita bags will not be made, however, a design inspired by the existing bag can be created instead. Direct ripoffs will not be done, period.
Plushes
- A 2 or 3 turn reference sheet is required for plush, or reference images which clearly display the characters markings.
- If a reference sheet is confusing or incorrect and the incorrect markings must be fixed on the plush, the buyer is responsible for the extra charges these changes may incur. A fursuit-style reference sheet is best to prevent marking changes
- NSFW elements on plush will never be allowed.
- Plushes that are larger than usual will incur extra fees. Plushes that need to have an entirely new pattern created for them will also incur extra fees.
- Plushes of existing characters such as pokemon or ponies are allowed.
Kigurumis
- A 2 or 3 turn fursuit style reference sheet or kigurumi specific reference sheet works best, to avoid issues with marking placement or color.
- Kigurumi are tailored to fit the size of each individual commissioner, they are not one size fits all like regular kigurumis, although they are not skintight and have extra room inside like a traditional kigurumi.
- Additional elements like wings, large tails, horns etc will have an extra fee.
- Kigurumis can be created of existing characters such as pokemon or ponies, which do not need a full reference, reference images from the show or source material will suffice.
Fursuits
- A 2 or 3 turn flat color reference sheet is required when submitting for fursuits. If you do not have a ref at this time, as long as one will be created before work begins on fursuits, reference images are fine at the time of submission. A fursuit style symmetrical reference sheet works best, but a regular reference sheet works too.
- Design changes during or before the work process may incur extra fees depending on the complexity of the changes.
- NSFW elements are disallowed.
- Fetish related fursuits are disallowed.
- Asking for either of the above may result in cancellation of your commission. (See: Cancellations)
- Fursuits are available in single parts only (Head, hands, feet, tail, or bodysuit) as well as full suits (Partial, Digitigrade or plantigrade)
- Plush suits or special types of fursuits such as quadsuits are not available at this time but may be in the future.
- Additional pieces can be added on for an extra fee (for example an extra pair of feetpaws, arm sleeves or handpaws)
- Magnetic eyelids can be added to fursuits, or magnets installed in the head so buyers can add their own eyelids
Art commissions
- Art commissions are done in tandem with physical items. Completion time may be different than physical items.
- NSFW elements are not allowed in art commissions
- Artwork of characters from shows, movies, video games, etc are allowed.
Deadlines, Cancellations, and Changes
- Hard deadlines are not done. Soft deadlines or tentative deadlines can be met, but are not set in stone.
- Rush commissions can be done however they will have a 50-100% price increase depending on how short the rush commission is. Extremely fast rush commissions for large items like fursuits or kigus may be declined.
- Cancellations at the request of the buyer will result in the supply fee (roughly 30%) being deducted from the refund. If work is done on the commission already, the refund % will be lower.
- If the buyer wishes to pay shipping supplies such as fur and fabric can be sent to the buyer after a cancellation.
- In the event a deadline is cancelled by RunnerRabbit, a full refund will be issued to the buyer, unless the buyer has violated one of the rules outlined in the terms of service resulting in a cancellation, in which case a %-based refund will be issued.
- Changes to the design before or after work has begun will be subject to additional charges if the design becomes more complicated or changes to already created parts must be made.
Shipping
- Shipping will be calculated after completion of the commissioned item and the final price will be paid by the buyer.
- All items will be shipped through USPS with insurance and tracking unless requested otherwise by the buyer.
- International shipping may be very expensive and the buyer is responsible to pay all import fees for internationally shipped commissions.
Payment and Payment Plans
- Payment plans are available on items over $700.
- The initial payment for the payment plan will be the 30% downpayment on the commission. All other payments will be divided evenly based on length of plan (max 3 months).
- Payment plans are set up via paypal invoice with a deadline coinciding with the end date the buyer has requested for the payment plan. Payments can be made at the client's leisure and multiple invoices do not need to be sent.
- Failure to complete payments on time multiple times will result in termination of the commission.
- If a payment will be late, please notify RunnerRabbit before the due date has passed. A missed payment with no notification that is not paid within 48 hours of the due date will result in termination of the commission. Multiple missed payments will not be tolerated.
- Failure to pay for the commission may result in the commissioner being blacklisted from commissioning RunnerRabbit in the future.
- The duration and amount per payment of the payment plan may affect the completion date of the item.
- Payment plans cannot be put on hold for a significant amount of time.
- A maximum of 3 months are allowed for a payment plan.
- Payment plans may be made weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
- RunnerRabbit will not message you to keep up with payments. It is you, the buyer's responsibility to pay your payment plan on time.
